I wish I could sing these words for you. I couldn't mess them up, but you wouldn't have a clue. I wish you could see things my way, but you couldn't give a fuck, and I wouldn't have my day.
There's got to be more to life than this, but I guess I'm still young. I'll look for that chance I missed. Anyway, things aren't all that bad. The good music in the world. I guess that's the chance I had.
But now I wonder if things could've turned out right. Would I be sitting here? I could've been alright.
I'm gonna end here on this note. I've got nothing else to say so I'm gonna use a quote. I want you to know, that I know, that I need you. Yes I need you.

I've got this stupid thing that I just won't let go. It's grown to drive me mad, but still I just don't know.
I've got to make up my mind.
You said you'd leave me be, but all you do is pout. I just can't take much more. One more, and then I'm out.
I got myself into this jam, and I'll find my own way back. I need you to leave me alone so I can get back on track.

Everyday starts with a new little song for me and you. One to get us through the day. And when each comes to an end we'll hear that simple song again, and know each day's not far away.
We can sit and talk for hours, and watch movies all the time. If we got a couple Rocks then I'll be fine. Or we can go out with our friends, and hope that this day never ends. I can't wait to go and watch Clerks again.
I'll take you out to a show. One I know you'll want to go. I heard The Vapids are touring soon. We'll get home you'll go to bed. I'll try not to wake you blasting Head, cause I know you're gonna sleep til noon.
I'd wait another day. I'd wait another week. Just to hear that song with you. It makes my life complete.

Every night you catch my eye 2:17. Sometimes I can't tell if it's real or if it's just a dream.
And I will always need you, and you will always need me. You're the one that I have wanted everyday. There's no way this time anything will get in my way.

It's something so stupid just like, it's something so stupid just like, it's something so stupid just like me.
I don't know where to begin. I've got this problem with my friends. As it turns out they might not be. See we were close so long ago, but now things changed and I don't know. I blame them, and they blame me.
Another girl got in my way. I had to leave, I should've stayed. But now that girl is gone, and I'm left all alone. Just sitting here with nobody.
I don't know when to say when. I swear my problem never ends. It's just always been that way. I screwed up once and lost a lot, but if she'd give me another shot I'd screw up again and probably pay.
I guess my friends were always right, cause as long as she is in my sight they will never see me, and that's the way it's gonna be. With that said there's nothing left to say.

If you're gonna leave me I think I know what I'll do. I'm gonna go to the bar, and then I'm ordering two. I'll get the first to remember times I'll never forget. Then have a second drink and dwell on things I'll always regret.
I must stop living in the past. I've got to let it go, and try not to make it last.
I don't know if it's me. I think it's gotta be you, but I can't go on like this without having a clue. Just tell me what you want. I promise to at least try. You've got to make your move soon. You're almost out of time.
If you can't take the time for once to just hear me out. I will ask you once more, and then I'll leave you in doubt. So don't live in the past, cause when I'm finally gone it will hit you one day, and you will know that you're wrong.
Now my thoughts are more clear, but I'm still not quite sure. If you would've listened to me. It won't happen anymore.
