If I went back in time I would change a thing or two. I think I'd start with us, and say that I miss you. And when you blow me off again as only you could ever do. I'd go back further in time before I met you.
I'm always having trouble forgetting the past. Still every song I write just makes it last. And I would write one thousand to just move on, but for now I'll never know.
I know this is not the way things were meant to end up for us, but it's time i faced the truth and just gave up. It always seems so hard to let a part of your life go, but sometimes it's the best thing, and for now I know.
I don't believe I meant a thing to you. And now I know what I have got to do. I've packed my bags it's time to get away. I hope we don't meet again one day.
